Lyndon

Lyndon was given a 25 years to life sentence for going into a bank to open a checking account with a $250. check that had been stolen and forged.  It was payment for work he did to repair an air conditioner.  At the advice of his attorney, he pled guilty in order to reduce the amount of time the DA was looking for, which was 50 years to life.  In the appeal, his attorney stated that the crimes he was charged with were each misdemeanors, each punishable for up to only one year in jail.  How much more time must he serve to pay society back?  It seems to me that society is the one paying--to the tune of $350K, with another half a million to go!
